Ravitaki District School is at Ravitaki on Kadavu, with 117 students and 6 teachers. Some of its students board at the school in two hostels. It is one of eight schools on Kadavu that we powered in 2026.

In 2026 we installed a 15 kW solar array with 19.8 kWh of battery storage, bringing 24-hour power to the classrooms, the teachers' homes and the hostels. A freezer for the hostels means food for the boarders can be stored safely. The school also has Starlink internet.

The school was funded through the Australian Government's REnew Pacific program. The system is part of The Solar Fund (Fiji), which monitors it and pays for its servicing and repairs, so it keeps working long after the installers have gone.
