Tavuki District School is at Tavuki on Kadavu, with 160 students and 9 teachers. It is one of eight schools on Kadavu that we powered in 2026.

In 2026 we installed a 12 kW solar array with 39.6 kWh of battery storage, bringing 24-hour power to the classrooms and teachers' homes. The school also has Starlink internet.

The school was funded through the Australian Government's REnew Pacific program. The system is part of The Solar Fund (Fiji), which monitors it and pays for its servicing and repairs, so it keeps working long after the installers have gone.
