Yaqeta Village School is on Yaqeta Island in the Yasawa Islands, with 66 students and 5 teachers.

Since our 2026 installation, the school has had an 11 kW solar array and 39.6 kWh of battery storage, giving the classrooms and teachers' homes 24-hour power. The school also received Starlink internet, laptops and smart TVs.

The school was funded through the Australian Government's REnew Pacific program. The system is part of The Solar Fund (Fiji), which monitors it and pays for its servicing and repairs, so it keeps working long after the installers have gone.
